SYNENERGY gasification technology is a step forward in the reduction of pollution through the use of materials presently dumped into landfills. Hawaii produces large amounts of waste that must be buried or exported. This waste, together with the landfill gasses it produces, can be used to produce electricity. The DHRR power plant will utilize these, now wasted, resources without releasing pollution into the atmosphere.
